BEACH AND BUSH SAFARI HOLIDAY
This beach and bush safari itinerary is a tremendous introduction to Kenya's natural wonders with a unique and magical combination of wild and rugged Kenya and the glorious Indian Ocean.
This safari beach and bush holiday starts in the spectacular uplands of northern Kenya where you begin your journey at the luxury tented camp Sasaab, immersed in the wild and rugged Samburu landscape.
Following this, head to the home of the black and white rhino on Solio Ranch, where you will stay at Solio Lodge, nestled in the valley between the Aberdare National Park and Mount Kenya.
From here, fly to your Masai Mara safari – Kenya's world-famous safari destination – for an unforgettable wildlife experience.
After exploring the bush, take time to relax and soak up the sun whilst enjoying white sandy beach days and swimming in the Indian Ocean at the glorious Kinondo Kwetu on Kenya's South Coast.
Back in Nairobi, reflect on your adventures at Giraffe Manor's tranquil Retreat, where you can enjoy the selection of wellness facilities in the peaceful surrounds of the giraffe sanctuary.

DAY 1 & 2 STAY AT SASAAB
GETTING THERE We'll arrange transport from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Wilson Airport for your one-hour flight to Samburu. You'll be met on arrival and taken to Sasaab in time for lunch.
EXPERIENCE A safari in Samburu is very different to that found in other parts of Kenya due to its distinct climate, landscape, wildlife and culture. Spot the Samburu Special Five, endemic to the region, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk and Beisa oryx. Discover the traditional way of life of the Samburu people through authentic cultural experiences. Sasaab is a luxury tented camp that offers fantastic adventure opportunities. Take a camel ride or quad bike through the wilderness, sleep under the stars in their fly camp or just relax and take full advantage of our pampering spa treatments.
DAY 3 and 4 STAY AT SOLIO LODGE
GETTING THERE After breakfast you will be driven to Sasaab's airstrip to take a short 20 minute private charter flight to Solio airstrip.
EXPERIENCE Solio Game Reserve is home to incredible numbers of black and white rhino, making for unforgettable game drives. Explore Solio Ranch by horseback, bicycle or foot. There are lots of exciting excursions close by, including trout fishing in the Aberdare National Park and on Mount Kenya, or epic helicopter trips to flamingo filled lakes and other wonders.
DAY 5, 6 and 7 STAY AT SALA’S CAMP
GETTING THERE After breakfast, you'll be driven to the nearby Nanyuki Airstrip where you will take a scheduled flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve and your Masai Mara camp, Sala's Camp. Then journey by 4×4 to Sala's Camp with a game drive en-route.
EXPERIENCE Explore the famous Masai Mara National Reserve on spectacular morning and evening game drives, spotting a diverse array of animals when they are most active. Enjoy scenic bush breakfasts and magical sundowners. Back at camp, soak up the wild views from your private deck and plunge pool, perhaps indulging in a spa treatment or simply enjoying the sounds of nature and watching wildlife wander past on the opposite side of the riverbank.
DAY 8, 9 and 10 STAY AT KINONDO KWETU
GETTING THERE From Sala's Camp, you will be transferred to Keekorok Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Diani via Wilson Airport. On arrival, you'll be met by a Kinondo Kwetu driver who will transfer you to your beachside paradise just a 25-minute drive away.
EXPERIENCE This is a wonderful opportunity to unwind. Relax in the sun and swim in the Indian Ocean. Kinondo Kwetu offers an impressive array of watersports including kite surfing, deep-sea fishing and scuba diving, as well as land-based activities like game drives to the nearby Shimba Hills, horse-riding along the beach and yoga. There are massage and beauty treatments on offer, as well as a sauna, two swimming pools and a tennis court.
DAY 11 STAY AT GIRAFFE MANOR
GETTING THERE Enjoy your last beachside breakfast before heading to Diani Airport to fly back to Wilson Airport in Nairobi. There, you will be met and driven to Giraffe Manor.
EXPERIENCE This classic ivy-clad manor house is an exceptional property on the Kenyan landscape. What makes it truly remarkable is its population of Nubian Giraffe that frequent the hotel to meet, greet and be fed by guests*. Enjoy afternoon tea on the lawn alongside the giraffes, relax in the tranquil grounds and make use of the wonderful wellness facilities at The Retreat next door. There is a breeding and conservation programme at the Giraffe Centre located within the Manor's grounds, which we invite you to visit to learn more about giraffe conservation. There are some great local excursions close to Giraffe Manor, including the Sheldrick's elephant orphanage (advance booking required).

DAY 12
As your Kenya safari holiday draws to a close, end on a high by sharing an unforgettable breakfast with the world's tallest animal. When you're ready, take a short stroll across the lawn to The Retreat at Giraffe Manor, our tranquil wellness centre located right next door. Here you can enjoy a day of deep relaxation in your heavenly day room suite, all-inclusive of delicious homegrown food, drinks, spa and gym facilities, our stunning infinity pool overlooking the giraffe sanctuary and airport transfers. We will take you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for your return flight home
